Minutes from Vancouver and Nanaimo, Gabriola Island is a great place to visit to relax and unwind from our busy lives. Our B&B provides many amenities to aid you in this pursuit. Sit by a cosy fireplace, read a book on the deck enjoying the amazing view, release your tension in our outdoor hot tub, to name a few.

Feeling a little more adventerous, then take a hike, literally! The Gabriola Land and Trails Trust, GaLTT, is busy developing a network of trails throughout the island. Click on this link, GaLTT to get a complete list of available trails and more information on GaLTT.

Gabriola is also home to a number of outstanding artists. If you are interested in purchasing, or merely curious of their work, many artists have studios that are open year round. Check out the gabriola arts council Artists directory for more information. The gabriola arts council also hosts the Thanksgiving Studio Tour where all the artists on the island throw open their studio doors for all to enjoy their work and perhaps purchase that perfect piece for your home or office. The Gabriola Lions 18th Concert on the Green features the TimeBenders on August 7th, 2014. This annual outdoor concert event attracts over 1500 people with all proceeds returned to the community by the local Lions Club.

The 6th annual Gabriola Theatre Festival returns in August this year. In 2013, the Gabriola Theatre Festival featured ten fantastic and professional theatre productions, as well as Street Art, the Outdoor Music Stage, Kids Corner, and much more. In 2014, this great event continues.

Lulu Performing Arts continues to explore and bring diverse music and artists to Gabriola Island throughout the year. These concerts and events are not to be missed. Check out their coming events page for information on artists, music and concert dates.

the annual Home & Garden Tour provides an opportunity to visit some of the unique homes and gardens on oour island. Proceeds from the event help fund many community programs and services delivered by the PHC, People for a Healthy Community. This is a great event and should not be missed.
